This is honestly how I imagine Big TT in my mind.

Bonus points for tucked in shirt w/ the cutoff jeans.

As bad as I hate to say it...if Mariota does go #1 as recently suggested by some, I think the Titans would scoop up Winston. From what I have read, Winston is a Whiz type QB. The Titans took players with character issues last year, so I'm not sure the character concerns would scare them away is Winston smooth talks them in to thinking he's matured or capable of being a professional.

To answer the question, I hope we trade down but stay in the top 10-15. This team needs all the playmakers we can get. Hopefully, this draft produces a couple of impact players. Both sides of the ball could use help.

This should be good! We disagree, I feel the same way with either QB. Neither are worth 2. Does not really matter, as we will be bottom feeders for one more year.

Everybody says mariota will take some time. I think all rookie QB's take some time. My question, in the long run, what is their ceiling. Who will be the Franchise QB?

I was listening to John McClain on the zone yesterday and he made the best argument for the Titans to draft Mariota that I've heard yet. He said, "I've never seen anyone fail in the NFL because they didn't huddle in college or took too many snaps from the shotgun. Drew Brees dropped to the 2nd round because he played primarily out of the shotgun at Purdue and we know how that turned out."

Watched Gruden's camp on Winston and Mariota last night.

Pretty solid on Mariota > Winston.

I've tried really hard to give Winston a fair shake. I don't think he is smart enough to be an NFL QB.

On top of that, he didn't seem, to me anyway,to have learned much on how to act like a professional in the past year.

He is an uncanny leader. I just think that is an overrated aspect. You don't need charisma if everyone knows you can win games.

Everything I've heard about Winston is how well he does on the board when talking football and how high his football IQ is. He got a 27 on the wonderlic which is up there with Brees and Manning.

I forgot something else McClain said about why the Titans should take Mariota. He also said, "Coaches are a dime a dozen. You can find a coach anywhere. Franchise QB's on the other hand are hard to find and you shouldn't let your coach dictate whether or not you take someone you think will be a franchise QB, because if he can't coach him, someone else can."

Only real knock I have on Mariota is he's so shy. When does he come out of his shell? I get that this pre draft process is foreign to all these kids but some of them seem unphased. Mariota seems like he's uncomfortable doing all these interviews and stuff.

But at the same time so did Kendall Wright, so Im hopeful he'll be more himself (whatever that may be)
