Some damn attractive big men that will be available with that first pick in rd 2. Does that effect how we draft with the 2nd pick? If we traded out of the 2nd pick or take somebody other than Leonard Williams(Amari Cooper) can we still get a difference maker for our defensive line? How does effect our decision with our first pick?

I really like Jordan Phillips out of Oklahoma. He is huge( 6'5 329) with quickness and agility. Can play NT or 3/4 end. A top 15 type prospect who would be gold at 33.

Malcolm Brown of Texas is also an impressive combination of size and quickness who could fall to that pick.

Eddie Goldman is a true NT which would allow us to move flexibility with Sammie Hill who could play some end.

Carl Davis is another impressive combo of size(6'45 319) and quickness who could develop into a solid player opposite Jurell Casey.

Luckily WR and interior lineman are very deep this year cause we need help at both spots. Honestly you could do this for WR as well. I think WR/DL will be our first two selections QB and trades aside.

I like Goldman a lot at NT. Phillips has the most upside but is inconsistent. Haven't seen enough of Malcolm Brown but he seems to be ascending up draft boards if rumors are true. I would be fine with Phillips or Goldman at 33. Give me Kevin White at 2 and one of the aforementioned guys at 33 and I wouldn't complain.

Of course as I said you could flip the script too and go lineman or pass rusher and grab a WR at 33 that fell out of the first but was a first round talent. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if we got DGB at 33

I agree with this except I want both instead of drafting someone else (obviously trade down if you can get roughly 3 first rounders or equivalent value). I want Leonard Williams-Jordan Phillips- Jurrel Casey as our starting d linemen next year.

Im begging for #12 and #19. I really like Arik Armstead. He is a perfect 3-4 DE. Grab him at #19 and Devante Parker at #12.

19 is too early for armstead. Especially with all the other talent that will be available there. I'd take him at 33 but not 19.

Thats a HUGE reach for Armstead, you could just wait til the 2nd round IMO.

I like Cooper by a hair over White, not for the obvious reason that he is Bama but because he was better for a longer time than White was. White had one great year at West Virginia.

Also the 40 time doesn't seem to be a good predictor for success in the nfl if people are real impressed by that. Heyward-Bey ran a great time and did little, Chad Jackson had a blazing time and was a complete bust. Cooper had the better cone and shuttle times which are at least as important. White is an inch and a half taller but the way Cooper high points the ball it might not matter either.

I think there is a bigger gap at WR from Cooper to who might be available at 33. Dorial-Green-Beckum might be the most talented player to make it out of the first rd and he is a knucklehead.

Of course he is a knucklehead but issues aside he has the highest ceiling of any WR. Plus he would be an instant red zone threat which we lack dearly since Hunter is a giant cat.
