Should the NFL invest in marijuana research?

People are going to use marijuana whether it's legal or not. One would think the feds and state govs. would have learned their history lessons concerning booze. I suppose once they decide to legalize it so they can tax it, the laws will pass in every state, regardless of how pious and Christian the state pretends to be.

It's amusing to continually listen to the hypocritical arguments against it by legislators, as we all know that most of them likely drink like fishes, and some have already been cited for drunken driving. Of course, it isn't amusing for those who desperately need medicinal marijuana. But then, the good legislators could give a rat's a** what they need, especially if they don't contribute to their coffers.
