Rules favor offense because offense sells tickets

What I fear may happen is we'll see rules that almost eliminate the big hits. I love the big hits that you can feel from the stands or at home, when those bad boys come around I get pumped

I will be in the minority with this but I would like to see a real Steriod/PED policy that actaully punished the players and the team. No way what we see is real now, now way.

Have a NFL channel where the announcers are turned off but the players/coaches/refs have mikes on all the time.

Stick a few of those video cameras the size of a button on the players and let's do instant reply from them.

Allow for about six screens where the viewer can click a number and see whatever they want. Sidelines. Cheerleaders. All-22. Etc.

    I call it "NFL Uncensored".

I think the PED policy goes hand in hand with my point on the conduct policy.. Though I think it's a secondary problem, compared to their actual conduct.

It's impossible to regulate. As soon as they crack down on one cheater drug, another will pop up. If there is a market, there will always be people finding ways around the rules.

To an extent, but I don't see filled AFL stadiums when they're scoring in the 60s every night.

At some point the scoring becomes cheapened and meaningless. One of the reasons I don't watch much NBA. It's just back forth all game.

    It would sell like hotcakes
It would really out these players for who they really are. I remember Bulluck yelling obscenities in the middle of training camp, about 30 feet from children and other bystanders.
For his "classy guy" image, it was a little over the top, and it wasn't even a heat of the moment sort of thing.. he was just doing it to be doing it.

The idea would get a lot of viewers, but it would make their reputation even worse, I think. My opinion on most NFL players is irreparably tarnished. I think a show like that would certainly be a hit, though.

That's because the AFL is a joke.. not even a minor league. They could put up 100 pts, or 0 pts, and nobody would care.

NFL would crap themselves with joy if they had a team that could put up 100, and everyone would be talking about it.
To the average braindead consumer, if a record is broken, it doesn't really matter the circumstances, or how the league bends to make it easier for them. I guarantee, if the NFL could get a player to break a significant record every year, the ratings would be sky high...

Like the Brady vs. Manning shootout years.
