If we stick at #2, Winston, Williams and Mariota are the only guys I'm considering. I think that it should be Williams without a doubt but I really don't see that happening. I can't help but get the feeling that Mariota is not a real option for us which makes it more likely that we will trade out of the spot.

I voted Williams, Winston, and Kevin White. My overwhelming preference is for a good trade, and I still think that we can swing it.

Really these are just the only three that won't make me rush to the kitchen for the Jim Beam...I can take my time to get to the kitchen with them.

I'm trying to not be so gun ho about this..I'm telling myself as long as its one of the top 6 players (who I believe are Jameis Winston, Leonard Williams, Marcus Mariota, Amari Cooper, Kevin White or Vic Beasley) then I won't be all up in arms about it.

Picking #2 allows you to "reach" for a player that's a top 5 ranked player. As long as they don't grab an OT, Danny Shelton (NT #2?), or some other reach (I can't even think of who else would be possible) then I'll be alright.

I just don't think you can take a WR #2 if he isn't Randy Moss or Calvin Johnson. Amari Cooper may be an excellent WR But he's not the game breaker that a 2nd pick should be.

Would you take Julio Jones #2?

Mett needs a weapon, plain and simple. Now, this is a deep WR draft, so they can get first round talent in RD 2, but can they wait that long? Just playing Devils advocate here. IF they don't trade back, or take LW, OLB, or QB...that means they are going to have to get a RT in the second...Can't bank on a 3rd or 4th rounder as your starting RT. That means you are getting another second tier wideout in the 3rd if so. Pair that with all of the visits and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. I'm not saying that's my first choice, just something to ponder.

CB is the biggest position that would make me lose it.

I voted: Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, or Amari Cooper.

Let me start with, I'm a Mettenberger fan. However, at #2 you have to take the potential franchise QB. I don't think Leonard Williams is as dominant as most believe, I see more of Tyson Jackson v2. I also believe that Amari Cooper is a Torry Holt/Marvin Harrison and could have a Odell Beckham Jr type of impact. That's worthy of #2 in my book.

I ultimately hope we're not drafting at #2 however.

LW...we have to be able to better control the opposing offense...we cannot win shootouts and no QB we bring in is going to give us that kind of offense.

We gotta be able to stop teams and do it quickly. Defense is key this year. I want LW and I want him to play with blood in his mouth.

I understand what you're trying to do. But you can't think about 2nd or 3rd round picks when you're on the clock at 2 IMO. I think that barring an extremely weak draft or freak available (Moss, Megatron) you either take a QB or best defensive player on the board.

Oh I'm with you....To me, it's game changer, franchise QB, trade back, or bust.
