Well... Time for another music city miracle... 3 wins in a row.

We would've won this game with Weber and/or Fisher.

Weber hasn't been that great this series, or the end of the regular season. IMO, Seth Jones played great, and more than made up for Weber's absence.

Would have been nice to have Fisher, though.

Oh well. If they can't beat the odds anf get out of round one against a backup goalie (even one on a hot streak).. no way they'll get close to the cup anyway.

This series has been brutal with the 2 OT losses. F the Blackhawks.

It will be a nice moral victory, but unless they can pull off a miracle run, this series pretty much ended at 1:s0mething am, this morning.

(2012 stats) Teams down 3-1 in a series end up winning 9.4 percent of the time
    (24 times in 254 tries).

Kings pulled off some since then, but that percentage is definitely still under 10 percent.

Preds have a 90 percent chance of not advancing, at best.

Disappointing end to a great season. too bad 2 of their likely 4 losses will come in 2OT or later.

next game will showcase a lot about the Predators as a franchise

if they dont dominate Chicago at home then I dont know what will happen but heads should roll....

I dunno.. None of the hockey "experts" picked the Preds to have any chance to make the playoffs. They were a massive surprise. Even a 1st round exit is a victory, considering preseason, nobody was expecting a good team this year.

Some personnel changes will be made, for sure.
    Fisher
    Santorelli
    Ribeiro
    Franson
    Smith
    Wilson

and quite a few other players' contracts are up, so we will see some new faces for sure. But outside of seeing some of those guys re-signed, and some hitting the road (franson and Santorelli at least) I think they'll try to keep the status quo. They just have to learn to finish. They've outshot the Hawks every game.. they just have a hard time getting good shots on the net.

I'm bummed but numb. I wish we could dominate at something one time. Honestly losing interest in local professional sports. OT loss is the same as any other loss.
