They played Bell at LT and are planning on playing Oher at LT. They're delusional.

Bell at RT may not be THAT bad. We will still draft a RT.

1 year/$1.5mil... could've been a lot worse, I guess.

I would've preferred Barksdale over Bell, but hopefully we find our starting RT in the draft.

 

Decent swing guy in case Lewan gets hurt again, can also play RT. I still wanna draft another RT but kinda opens up a playmaker/OLB at #33 now. Costing WAY less than Oher atleast.

 

I seriously doubt he's our starting RT, no more than a depth signing. I'm okay with it, god forbid our starting tackles go down, at least we have a guy with some experience that would step in.

 

2nd-worst offensive tackle in all of football last year according to PFF.

 

Why would the Panthers say anything different. Look at us last year, Ravens said he was bad and we thought he was good. For 1 year 1.5 million, this isn't a big deal. Knowing us, we will draft a RT for our 1st round #2 pick

 

Is this starters or every possible RT with playing time?

 

Once again, that was at LT though.

Even Panthers fans I talked to said he was decent at RT. They HATED him at LT though... so much that they were happy to get Oher.

I won't say "he can't be worse than Oher" because I said "he can't be worse than Stewart" when we signed Oher last year. But I believe this is just a depth signing. Byron Stingily was our current starting RT. Now it's Bell for the time being.

Shouldn't have any real impact on the draft. Still need a RT.

If Bell has to fill in at LT for Lewan, our OL is gonna be even worse than last year.
