Idk bout that yet. I was a garapolo man going into the draft as the 2nd best qb behind Carr.

    Better than Carr

Only QB I'd have taken before Jimmy was Teddy

Its really not if you just look at what he does for them.

As the back-up Jimmy plays scout team all year. Last year that meant he had to mimic Flacco, Luck, and Wilson in order to get their defense ready, his coaches rave about how well he's able to chance hats week to week. That and his preseason last summer was quite impressive. people want to give Mettenberger the job partly due to his preseason production, why not give it to a guy whos better? Garoppolo is the full package, can do everything you want your QB to do...

Whats strange is why am I the only one who's noticed this?

Yes. You are the only person to credit the scout team QB for winning games.

Hey look who our scout team QB is, and you wonder why we went 2-14?

    Correlation isn't causation, my man.

By the end of the year, our whole team was a scout team. I doubt the looks that our scout team QB was giving the corner who is a cashier at McDonalds now made a giant difference in what happened on Sundays.

The fact Jimmy G is a great scout team QB is besides the point, but thats all theres been to go off, he's playing behind the best QB in 40 years. People may not get to see him play at all til his rookie contract runs out in 3 more years...

We should trade them our 33rd pick for him and hope theyre drunk and take it...

They were doing just fine with the likes of Ryan Mallett, Brian Hoyer, Matt Cassel, etc as their backups because they never had to play! (Other than Cassel in 08)

They have Tom ****ing Brady, dude. Garoppolo had NOTHING to do with their SB win.

Stop coming up with ridiculous evidence to support your love for Garoppolo. Could he be good after Brady retires? Sure. Could he also suck? Yes. To pretend like anyone knows if this guy is gonna be good in the NFL at this point is just ridiculous IMO.

I think he could be decent... But you're acting like he's just gonna pick up right where Brady left off or something.

He wont suck, probably make them forget all about Brady.

Jimmy will win 5-6 Super Bowls, book it

Id trade any of our players for him, he's a franchise QB.

We will all be sure to remember that you believe Garoppolo will make the Pats forget about the best QB of all time and win 5-6 Super Bowls on his own.

K... I'm gonna go ahead and say that the odds are not in your favor here.

I think what happened is you already liked Garoppolo heading into the draft and as soon as the Pats took him you went to LaLa land and tried to rationalize him being a first ballot Hall of Famer by saying to yourself "The Pats know what they're doing and he's gonna get to learn from the greatest QB of all time!"
