If the pick stays as #2, who are you happy in getting?

I've gone back and forth for months now on what i think we should, from stick with mett, to draft mariota, back to mett, trade back, take the smart choice and go with Williams...

At this point I'm thinking we need to roll with mett, and start investing in him and the franchise. He's shown he can play at this level, his only concern is injury, and that's the only reason I'd be OK with taking mariota if we did.

So With that being said I'm gonna start the Cooper train. I like kendall Wright, and I'd wager Harry Douglas can fill the void left by Washington. but i think hunter is letdown. However, bringing in cooper as the #1 could alleviate any pressure on hunter and he could start to blossom too. Cooper would be exactly what mett needs, and exactly what whiz would like for his offense. And we need SOMETHING to get this offense going. Leave the defense to LeBeau and give him a year to see what he can do. Give him some help in a later round..

That's where i stand right now, I've been trying to watch tape on the top guys. Cooper has stood out the most so far, so what if he's not 6'5", neither was jerry rice or cris Carter

Well our GM doesn't have a great, or even good, draft record. From purely a drafting standpoint, I have no doubt many around here could do a better job.

Mariota, Williams, and White is who I picked. I wouldn't hate Cooper but I think White ends up better down the road and Cooper is closer to already hitting his ceiling.
