I'm trying to think back to when the Titans had anything like a game-changing WR and I can't beyond a game or two by Britt. If Coop were to be that guy, it might give Mett a shot to be a franchise QB.

But the draft is deep at WR and I keep thinking a solid WR will slide to #33.

Thank gawd the draft is just a week away.

No doubt TJ. It's hard to justify a WR so early in a deep class, but just imagine a #1 paired with Wright, Doulgas, Hunter. Could be exciting, and will find out about Mett and whether he can be successful with weapons or not. I think if they are truly all in on Mett, they get a #1, a RT, and likely a RB/G. This is going to be an interesting draft.

IF they are all in on Mett then yes, but I think they have been saying the opposite to the media or implying that at least.

Yeah I agree...I've been saying for a while that they aren't drafting LW. I think they would go Mariota, Trade, and potentially WR or Fowler before that.

No doubt! I just can't make up my mind this year. I'm already starting to lean back towards taking Mariota.. And mostly, I say that because we can't afford to roll with another injury prone qb.

I'm all for sticking with Mett right now, and drafting Cooper to give this offense some identity. That could go a looong way. But we HAVE to solve our qb issues to do good in this league, and if Mett can't stay healthy, then we DO have qb issues. It's too important of a position to not have a backup plan, and I think Mariota would be a helluva insurance policy. Whether we take him or not, I think he's gonna do good in this league. He's got all the tools plus no off field issues, and no big injury issues. Take him. Let Mett start, see what he can do, see if he can stay healthy, if not.. Mariota time.

    Cooper, Mariota, or trade back.

I like Mett but the hat to the back picking his nose slouchy look and saying "ummmmm" every other word in interviews concerns me.
