Peter King: Titans comfortable taking Mariota, spent more time scouting him than any team

Franchise QB is the key to success. So I don't think you ever really want to see a division rival take a top QB prospect. If you put even a top 15-caliber QB on this team we might actually be able to make some noise.

 

Jags especially aren't a team Id be worried with, I dont think enough of Gus Bradley to care what he and his team try doing over there, they've got themselves another Munchak IMO, without elite talent thats not a program I seeing making noise.

 

I think if we add Mariota at 2 and DGB at 33 we should be in a position to make some noise.

 

To me if add mariota and looking for a WR at 33, he needs to be someone can count on. Not sure DGB can be counted on. Has great talent but not sure about off field issues and his head being on straight.

 

eh. youll all be dissapointed. ill be ok, just waiting for all you fools to admit how right i was in a few years. thatll be great. so what the titans flounder and suck a few more years, right guys?

 

And if happens then probably have new GM and coach and then everybody be happy.

 

dont you guys thinks its coincidental that a week before the draft all the sudden the titans want mariota? they dont have confidence in him or trades wouldnt even be a consideration, and they wouldnt have to say "were comfortable taking him if we have to." doesnt this sound like fisher/vy scenario all over. even got our own kerry collins 2.0 waiting to take over in mett for when mariota fails/gets broken trying to run.

 

#7 far superior to kfc. At least the 2 tone blue kfc

 

Mariota not VY either. Totally different attitude and work ethic.
