His official time was 4.41. That's a fact. But it looks like he did run an unofficial 4.38. But I digress, I'm not going to argue about .004 seconds.

I wonder if the Titans know who they're going to take yet.

Looks more and more likely it's Mariota. However, any news this close to the draft is highly questionable. We could just be attempting to raise his value.

    No he doesn't.

And when he does, his accuracy dips terribly.

He IS a run around/scrambling QB. He's not a passer.

I agree his downfield accuarcy needs improvement. However, claiming he is purely a option/scrambling QB is stretching.

Minus the sprint outs that Oregon runs to get Mariota moving, Mariota looks to pass the ball downfield. When he gets flushed out of the pocket his eyes are still downfield and he uses his leg to extend the play. He is not looking to take off every single play like a Jake Locker when he gets flushed or can't see anyone open.

When almost everything he did in college was based off running- yeah, he's a scrambling QB.

He does at least keep his eyes down field and tries to pass- but that's a small, small portion of the time.

It'd be simply moronic to take a QB like Mariota before round 2. He doesn't have the resume to be a 1st round NFL QB. Hasn't put in the work for it to show he has the ability. He's been protected by a system in Oregon that rolls out QB after QB that fail in the NFL.

And every scouting report disagrees with your assessment. That is not to say he will automatically be successful, but clearly he has all the tools to be a franchise QB.
