Webster is so bad at this stuff. Almost all NFL media on Twitter are laughing at him for his stupid comments about liking Winston and Mariota the same. It's insane to suggest the Bucs' pick will have no effect on things.

to be fair, websters never been in a position where its extremely helpful to bluff and "play the game"

I got the exact opposite. If you are trying to sell to other teams that its not a bluff and you really will take him, you act just like they did. If they really thought he was a franchise QB, why are they even considering a trade? Its because they don't. They will be more than happy to take him, but they want a trade more.

youre mad he said he likes them the same?

we're selling the idea we want a QB without saying which QB, no?

They are trying to sell the idea, but no one on the planet is falling for it.

I still think they want to trade. If they really liked both why even talk about a trade? If you want to make teams you really would take a QB what would you do?

    1. Talk up the possible QB - Check
    2. Say you like them both and would love to have either (this way you are not stuck if the one you say you like goes #1) - Check
    3. Down play your current QB just a bit - Check
    4. Talk about how much a franchise QB means - Check
    5. Say you have not really had serious discussions with teams - Check
    6. Talk about how you would work that QB into your offense even though he doesn't fit - Check

They have done it all. I say its 75/25 they trade back.

Webster said he's excited about the 33rd overall pick. Could have action there too.

Wouldn't shock me at all to trade back from #33. If we move back just a few spots, we could pickup a 3rd. Imagine this:

    2: Marcus Mariota
    40ish: Dorial Green-Beckham
    3rd: Best RT available
3rd: Buck Allen, or RB of choice

DGB could still be available at #33. Out of the 8 mock drafts on CBSSports and NFL.com, only 2 have DGB going in the 1st rounds. If he's not available, would still have a chance for Phillip Dorsett, Nelson Agholor, Jaelen Strong, or Devin Smith. An extra 3rd could do wonders for this team.

I think they 100% want to trade back... question is, will they have an offer worthy of doing so.
