Really? Had no idea LOL.

That phantom Eagles deal had a few draft picks with it as well....2 #1s, a 3rd, and others, in addition to the players named. No argument that dealing with contract year personnel would be a challenge, but there was more to the deal than that, and what do we pay Webster to do anyway?

Ok...said I was done venting, so I am done. I do not dislike MM, I just think we left alot on the table to get him.

 

yeah well Bironas will never miss another kick and Locker will never lose another game so it was a smart move. Unless JF came with a box of cracker jacks. They have a random surprise inside. Might just have been a QB

 

I know. Shocking. The Eagles didn't actually try to trade the entire roster.

Yeah I imagine Mariota's college coach realized how dumb it would be to select him. Most likely never entertained drafting him and wouldn't have even at 20... which is why they went for their QB via trade.

 

Not sure what to think about the pick... But I'm excited to find out if it was the right choice. I also kind of feel bad for Mettenburger. I think with time he could be a quality QB. He may never get the chance. But can't feel too bad. As a 6th round pick, even if he is a career back up he will make millions.

Let the Mariota era begin. (And keep your fingers crossed)
