Almost three hours later and I've settled on Devin Smith at #33.

Like just about everyone else, I was down to OT and WR.

I'm not impressed with the remaining OTs. Jake Fisher plays high, lunges when run blocking, isn't all that nasty and I don't like the way he finishes plays. Feet are ok. TJ Clemmings looks athletic, but he also looks lost. Sometimes he doesn't block anyone. Donavon Smith played LT but looks more like someone who will make a living inside. I don't see the value with any of these guys.

Moved on to WR. I really like the depth in this WR class. It was down to Devin Smith, Devin Funchess and Jaelen Strong. Now that I have really compared them against each other, I'm changing the way I initially had them ranked. I'm moving Devin Smith ahead of Strong. Smith, Strong, Funchess. Smith just makes plays. Has great deep ball skills. Good hands on the over-the-shoulder catches. I watched three games of Strong's and didn't see him make a single play over the top. Everything was underneath or on crossing routes. Despite being smaller than Funchess, I think he is much stronger going over the middle. Despite the 40 times, I think Funchess plays faster than Strong.

Devin Smith definitely had an advantage when it came to QB play. Strong's and Funchess' QB play was absolutely horrible.

Devin Smith would be a great pick, somehow forgot about him. Think he would fit our offense very well and he's another versatile WR that we seem to love now (Douglas signing).

You sound depressed. Tell your wife to give you a hug and then snack on some dingleberries. Call your boy JCB to cheer you up. Get a pet duck or something. :reaction:

Should we draft aWR or OL, or just pick up BPA?

Well we just invested in offense, should probably top that off by adding the last missing pieces, WR, or RT, which ever is BPA...

I'd like Strong. Martiota is going to need as many weapons as we can give him.

Is the speedy WR from Ohio worth the 2nd RD pick?

Jalen Strong doesn't excite me, and Devin Smith is a 1-trick pony.

Gut feeling is trade down acquire more picks and select BPA. I feel there is more value in the 3rd-4th range.
