Yeah....someone said last night that he had lost a bunch of weight as well...is that correct? That could be a problem for him generally, not just related to the draft.

I'd rather go after Tyrus Thompson/Daryl Willams in the 4th than take a RT @33

Let's go ahead and package Mett with a trade scenario. maybe swap picks with a QB needy team to move up into 2nd or 3rd round.

TO me, you get best value here and preferably a stud. I think they go RT or WR with this pick. Here are the names I would like to see them go after:
Jaelen Strong, DGB, La'el Collins (yes I know the side issue but he is a top 10 talent), Gregory (not big on him, but high upside, maybe Clemings/Fisher.

I think since they took Marcus, they either get his weapon or protection here. Hard to pass on Jaelen Strong. He is big, top tier talent, and his wrist won't be a problem. Pair him with Wright, Hunter, Nicks, Douglas and you finally have some weapons. At the same time, they need a starting RT so I could see them going that way too. Tevin Coleman is there, but not worth it at #2 in my opinion.

Why does anyone think Mett has trade value? Dude's terrible. And he showed his hand by demanding a trade.

I said we were rolling with Mariota for a while. I'm not sure how you can be upset with that pick unless they got some ridiculous trade offer and turned it down. Think about going into this season with Mett, CBJ, and Palmer....It's like practice for opposing Defenses...lol. We did what a smart team does at two...Demand the world, or take a guy who offers franchise changing ability with a clean record and good attitude.

I think what this thread has taught me is that there are far too many good players on the board to not trade down.

Wrong. Manziel at least has name power, can potentially sell tickets.
