I had my heart set on QB/WR combo in rounds 1 & 2. But I do think OT is the more pressing need at this point. Like you said, if we don't draft (a good) one then RT is gonna be a huge weakness for us.

I think the pick will most likely be OT. Seems a lot of times 1st round QB selections are followed up by a OL pick.

Well, we got Mariota. LW is going to disappoint. Just watch.

I know it sucks passing on good defensive talent but honestly fixing the offense needed to be objective #1. If the offense becomes even slightly above-average, rather than absolutely dreadful, then I think the defense will be okay as-is. We made a couple nice FA pickups and hopefully certain players are going to begin to flourish in year two of the new 3-4 defense.

He's also more than likely facing the defense's best DB.

I'm not arguing for or against him, but catch rate isn't a great indicator, IMO.

You can make the same argument about a lot of the top receivers in the draft, whose covering them/throwing to them. It's an alarming stat I'm curious to know how many of those are drops.

I really don't know if I can stomach another season of being gutted up the middle for 5 yards a carry by every running back in the league.

They should have a better chance stopping them when they actually have a good breather on the sidelines through out a game. We were going 3 and out consistently never giving our defense a break. That takes a toll during a game.

IMO, the Titans' biggest needs, in order, are Edge, WR, RT, CB. If you want to draft for need, you could gamble on Randy Gregory at #33. It's too early, IMO, to take Eli Harold or any of the remaining edge rushers but I could see them going with Harold.

You've got your pick of Strong or DGB if you want to go WR. The Titans had both of them in for visits.

La'el Collins is still on the board if you want to go RT. The Bucs, who pick at #34, are in desperate need of an OT. It wouldn't surprise me if a team that wanted Collins traded with the Titans to get him ahead of Tampa Bay.

    I suppose.

I mean, Kevin White's QB situation in 2013 was bad. Multiple QBs due to injuries. He put up around 500 yards. Fast forward to 2014 and Clint Tricket played most of the season, especially early, and he exploded, especially early.

Conversely, DeVante Parker had the worst QB situation out of any of the top guys and he dominated when he came back from a foot injury.

    Every situation is different.

I will say I didn't see many drops in the games I watched. I just don't think he's anywhere nearly as fast as he timed.

I know what you mean but I also can't stomach another season of 3-and-out after 3-and-out. This team was a complete mess and it's just gonna take time. Can't fix everything in one offseason.

I have to agree here. if you're going to draft Mariota, you better draft someone good to plug in the holes on the OL we have right now at #33. After that go all defense.

I think this is the perfect place to trade down and get picks. But Randy Gregory is a top 10 maybe top 5 talent and would be great horton and this defense.
