He really wasn't "terrible". He QB'ed a "terrible" team. His stats aren't that bad. and what I'm describing isn't much of a bump. A lot of pundits are still high on Mett's arm strength and projected him to have a much better year in 2015.

Why is "Trade Up" listed a choice in that poll? Is there an option of trading back into the 1st round I don't know about?

I'm not sold on any of the WR's left at #33 so I am leaning more toward trading back and getting a RT or the BPA on the defensive side of the ball. The only way I'm going to be upset with the rest of the draft is if it's REALLY offensive lopsided. We need to strike a balance this draft to have the best chance for success.

I've thought about this all night (actually woke up way early due to draft excitement). Here's what I'm thinking.

We can get an OT in the 3rd or 4th round, but with the big run on offensive lineman yesterday, it scares me to wait that long. But I just don't want to spend another high pick on o-line when we have so many other needs. If we can trade back and get another 3rd, or a 3rd & a 4th, or better yet an extra 2nd (does anyone have 2 2nd's this year?), we need to do it. Also, one of the teams biggest weaknesses last year was stopping the run and they haven't really addressed that at all in free agency or the draft. So I don't think adding a d-lineman at #33 is out of the question.

As far as players, here's my 2nd round big board.

    1. Jaelen Strong
    2. Devin Smith
    3. Dorial Green-Beckham
    4. La'el Collins
    5. TJ Clemmings
    6. Eddie Goldman
    7. Preston Smith
    8. Jake Fisher
    9. Owamagbe Odighizuwa
    10. Carl Davis
    11. Michael Bennett
    12. Nate Orchard (maybe could have in the 3rd?)
    13. Haoli Kikaha (maybe could have in the 3rd?)

Jaelen Strong is definitely my top player. No off the field issues and if it weren't for his hand injury he'd have gone in the 1st. Reminds me of Andre Johnson.

Trading back just makes so much since. I know we need someone to partner with, but if we can trade back 4-7 spots and pick up their third to do it, it has to get done.

    37ish: DGB/Strong
3rd- La'el Collins- Think there is too much risk for a 2nd, but ill bite with a third
    3rd- Orchard
    4- G
    5- David Cobb
    6- BPA
    6- BPA

I'd offer a 6th for Stacy. He's doesn't have much of a future with the Rams. They'd move him cheap I bet.

I changed my pick to Cobb instead of trading for him. Stacy is 5' 8'' and doesn't pair very well with Sanky. Cobb is a bigger back and pairs better and under contract for longer.

Really not interested in Gregory. I don't care about the failed drug test, just don't like his play style.

Give me Dorial Green-Beckham or trade back to pickup an extra 3rd.
