Only pick I've really liked today. I think he's a good complement in our poor running game.

  2. First of all, great value pick! As a Gophers fan I can say that he is my third favorite running back in Gopher history (behind Maroney and Barber).

Secondly, did McShay really say that? It sounds like McShay may have watched like 10 plays. Cobb's biggest assets are his patience and vision.

Worst rush offense in the league last year (or close to it). We add this guy who should've been drafted higher but was dealing with a bad quad during the draft process. We add him, Fowler, a mauler at RT/G, and an interior lineman. Liking this draft so far.

I am liking the last day of the draft much more than the first 2 days of the draft. The reason I wanted to trade that 1st rounder is simply because this draft really is deep with quality (not star) players. When you are in as bad of shape as we are, picking up as many quality players as possible shapes the future. I am really concerned about and for Mariota and DGB doesnt deserve to be a Titan with his past.

Someone on NFL Networks coverage on Friday kept saying something like "David Cobb! Thats my guy. Somebody needs to go get him soon, he is too good!" That was in the third round. Did anybody else see that and can remember which analyst was saying it? Said it a few times. Both of these power runners look good to me. Great job FO.

Great value here. Love him to go with Sankey.

I think he's more than that. He ran a crappy 40, but that was due to injury. He has more wiggle, agility, and speed than what most give him credit for. One stat I like, from NFL.com - Cobb gained 54 percent of his yardage after contact from 2013-2014.

Cobb reminds me of another former Gopher, Marion Barber.

I think Barber is dead on, maybe even Ridley but definitely in that class/mold. His highlights aren't anything to brag about but he's a good RB to pair with Sankey. If it wasn't for his quad injury he would've went much higher.
