Prior to his knee injury Fowler was a similar nfl prospect as a RB to Lacy and Yeldon. It's hard to get carries on that team but whenever he had a game where he got the ball some he was dominant.

With a plethora of good backs they made him a fullback and he added 10 lbs and played great. He could be another Zach Crockett who was money on the Goaline for the 02 Raiders. He is also a great red zone receiver.

Another swiss army knife type guy for Whiz to use.

I see him being used to pound the rock. As part of the three headed monster we possibly now have.

I really like this pick....Dude can actually cut for a big man, and has solid hands. His blocking is excellent too, which is VERY much needed. Grabbing a guy in the 4th like this basically solidifies your FB, and pounder HB needs, and will help in the goal line/Red zone a lot. It also helps with Sankey and Mariota, so I am not sure how you can dislike this pick. Dude has some skills and played against good competition.

I like this pick, quite a bit and I am not an Alabama fan, I am a run the ball right up someones throat fan. Having a fb that can BLOCK can make a running back like Sankey very usuable. We also picked up another FB as a udfa that I am excited about. Having a hard-nosed downhill running game will give Mariota much more growing room. If you have a good blocking FB and TE the outside the tackle runs become much more feasible for long gains. That also takes some pressure off the line.

I don't think any doesn't like the pick, but in the 4th round?? ahhh idk, I feel like we could have found more value and still be able to get a FB.

It was a "free" pick, and there was a very real chance he wouldn't be around next time, so I don't even mind it in the 4th.

I think the DGB trade is going to prove to be pretty huge for us.
