    Saying you prefer having Mett on the roster over having an All-Pro defensive end is approaching OP's level of insanity.

    Unless (hopefully) you just mean you aren't actively looking to trade Mett.

    Mett is essentially Josh McCown, just with no wins to go along

    But fans seem quick to forget Webster traded up for Mett, he likes Mett, he doesn't want to move Mett. There is exactly 0% chance the Jets move a Pro Bowl caliber DE for a winless backup.

    I was coming here to say the same thing. They drafted Petty less than a week ago. They don't need a second developmental QB.

    Mett>Petty IMO by a mile

    Mett over any of this years 2nd tier QB's, this class had 2 QB's and a bunch of guys who will be serving pizza in a few years..
