exactly. Seems like a match made in heaven to me. Ultimate screen passer combined with ultimate screen receiver.

I'm assuming that their loyalty to Mett is more about him being a "cool dude" than as a locker room/on the field leader.

Which, I'm sure Mett is a cool guy to hang around with. Seems a lot more personable than an anal Peyton Manning type..

But that doesn't mean much on the field. 8 TDs/7INTs and a 0-6 record for a guy who was a 6th round pick (no matter if he was projected to be a 2nd-3rd).. you can't expect that a guy like that has things sealed at the QB position. I'd be disgusted if he were given the position.

Titans.. making more mistakes by having their players in public.. ESPECIALLY WRs.. when they are about to draft a QB. That's always a mistake, unless they are coached to be excited. But that's too much work, so they probably should've had the players go into a private room.

Whoever runs Titans PR should be getting some heat for this. But I'm pretty sure most of the upper management there, has their heads up their butts.

Imagine the reaction when "Mariota to DGB!" Becomes a thing ...

Those two are walking in that team like "we're here to take jobs"

I think that's reading too much into it. I think in all likelihood their reaction had more to do with personal feelings toward Mett rather than professional feelings toward Mariota. And what do you mean by "that gives Mariota even less rope with them"? Frankly they don't have a say in the matter and if anything this reaction gives THEM less rope with Mariota lol. Like it or not, this is Mariota's team for at least the next 2 years.... and that's an absolute worst case scenario.

Honestly, Hunter is the 4th best receiver on this roster at best. Wright and Douglas are better than him and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say at least one of the two rookies will be better than him right out of the gate. No way I see him getting a 2nd contract with this team.

I rip Hunter at times but he has shown flashes , I honestly hope he hits his potential. That soft humble stuff is ok in person but not on the grid iron, ask Mariota, hope he don't do the same crap. I doubt he will, I think Marcus is tuff.

Justin Hunter is digging himself a grave on twitter right now. The Titans have dumb players, news at 11.
