His demeanor is fine and it is much more noticeable in contrast to Winston. Eli Manning isn't exactly the biggest talker and he does fine in the biggest media market.

I think players respond to a guy who works just as hard or harder and will make big plays to win games. That's why all of his former teammates don't care whether he was a loud or quiet guy, they cared because he was always well prepared, made big plays and despite sometimes taking shots, never backed down and was a huge positive for their team.

McNair wasn't a rah rah type guy. Dude produced on the field and players respected him for that. Mariota will do the same.

If Mariota plays well, it will speak for itself and his leadership.

Mariotas first change of demeanor needs to come on the field. In the huddle. Other than that- don't care

He might not be a vocal leader or an outspoken person and brings little excitement in that regard. But, the guy is electric on the field, he like mcnair has the ability to fire up the whole world, with one play. For that reason, he will be just fine.

I have read stories where MM did become vocal in practice. I think he will do fine.

I'm ready to see what he can do to light a fire under this teams ass and win some damned games.

Why don't we give him an opportunity to develop a rapport? Most vets are likely to appreciate he is coming in here and not assuming anything. If he's quiet, his work will speak louder than any retard (eg- VY) fights or comments or "loving to just joke around and stuff like that....."

All that really matters is on field performance, and wether or not he can get his guys to follow him into battle.

He could be just like Michelle Griffin, quiet and soft tho too. So it is a valid question
