Harry Douglas to Learn Multiple WR Positions

If you really buy that "we'll play a terrible WR because we took him in round 2" stuff, I have some land on the moon for sale.

Whis and Co. are coaching for their lives... they're not putting a WR that can't run routes in the top 3 of their depth chart. Not this season.

 

Dont be dense, you know good and well he meant the drafted WR's get first looks, Whiz wont play anyone he doesn't trust, but just like anyone else whos deeply invested at WR via drafting them, those guys get a shot first.

 

Seems like a waste of a draft pick then. If you're coaching(/GMing in Webster's case) for your job, why use the 40th overall selection on a guy you don't even plan on using this year?

I think it's a foregone conclusion that they plan to use DGB in a top 3 role. Obviously if he absolutely stinks it up in camp/preseason that's not gonna happen. But I think they are gonna give him every opportunity to do so.

 

6'5" 235lb WR will get every chance in the world to win the job.

 

Because they fall in love with hype and size numbers instead of being rational too. He's a project, I'm sure he'll have some flash plays, but I'm not expecting anything from him until year 3

 

Harry Douglas will be our best WR this year, that's how disappointing everyone else is. Kendall just slipped as I was typing this

 

Whis and co. Were the ones so high on him...Which is why they drafted him early...He also visited a ton. Hate him or not bro, get ready...because DGB will be seeing a lot of action. You don't draft a guy that is 6'5 237 that runs 4.5 speed to ride the pine. Routes or not, he will be getting his chances more than a #4, if for nothing else.."Mismatches". Don't let your dislike effect reality. Someone once told me Kendall Wright wouldn't start high on the chart his first year either.......Pair the fact that there is no other stud receiver on this team, DGB will be getting looked at often.

 

If DGB sucks horribly (which I hope doesn't happen) then he may slip...but they are going to try with everything they have to get him in the top 3 and give him a shot.

 

Redzone is gonna be his middle name.

 

Put Hunter and DGB on the outside and have them run go routes every play, while Wright and Walker actually play real offense over the middle.

Boom. Superbowl.
