520 loved Jamie Foxx's portrayal of angry-for-no-reason lightbulb man.

I defended ASM1 when most people hated it.. but that 2nd one, dang it was bad. It killed that franchise dead in its tracks. It helped turn (formerly) one of the most profitable superhero franchises into nothing, they had to lend rights to Marvel to try to rehabilitate that character.

The original 3 star wars movies, Jurassic Park, Matrix, first Star Trek of the reboot, Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, Avengers 2, Iron Man, Avatar, some of the Fast and Furious movies, all of the LOTR's movies...

Off the top of my head. A lot of times I see a movie twice because I'll see it with a family member and then again with a friend or vice versa. And I agree, I tend to aim for big screen movies that are better in the theater. Im more about the big screen, better sound system, and leather reclining chairs than I am about 3d.

The only movie that I have gone back to see multiple times was Saving Private Ryan. Three trips were made to the big screen for that one. The sound of the German tanks rolling in as they were preparing for the ambush made my skin crawl, and then there were the vets who were literally in tears.

Basically any good superhero movie I went to see multiple times, usually because of different friend groups. My family is big movie buffs as well so whenever I visited home we would usually go see something that I've already seen. What I'm trying to say it my list would be embarrassingly long and full of not so great films. I don't see a problem with seeing a movie multiple times in theaters but with how blu ray and TVs are now, I just assume wait and buy it when it comes out.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 was not even worth me even contemplating watching. I saw the first one and hated it. Second one looked even worse.

Like Fry, I'm pretty much done with comic book movies at this point.

As for movies I've seen multiple times in theaters... It's been years since I've done that, but I used to do it fairly often with different groups of friends/family.

Also when friends in high school were working at the theater, I got to go for free all the time. So I saw a lot of stuff multiple times.

Before the days of cellphones and the modern culture of rudeness and entitlement the movie theater was a magical place and I would see movies I liked several times over.
I especially liked Midnight Movies and must have seen Dawn of The Dead, The Warriors, Rocky Horror etc. a dozen times each.
Nowadays the theater is inevitably a place that you leave wanting to strangle children and their parents.

The only movie I went back to see twice, was The Dark Night.

I probably would have for Iron Man (freaking loved the first one), Jurassic Park, and that is about it....

I'll never forget when I went to see Mortal Kombat in the theatre back in 1995. When the opening scene and music started, people where standing, cheering, and doing karate moves in the isles. Good times! No cell phones, tablets, or any other ****ing annoying electronic device except the occasional bzzzzz from someones beeper.
