How is mett the better passer? In college he had 2 elite WR's and yet still only got 35-15 TD/INT passing pct 61% avg most yards in a season 3000 (college 3 years). Now on the other hand you have Mariota 105-14 TD/INT, 4450 yards in his best season and a cock solid passing pct of 66% with average WR's. Now on the other hand you don't even wanna try to compare mett vs mariota in the rushing section on the stats lmao. Btw 520 do you even watch film bro?

520 is a Zach Homer for sure, but he has a point. I don't know that Zach would be any better, but mariota has not proven he can fit it in tight windows. When your red zone percentage and numbers in college are on par with RG3, and Johnny football, that doesn't bode well for the rest of his career in the NFL. All of the throws now are much tighter. There has yet to be a spread\zone read quarterback show any long term success

do many people agree with tww2 outlandish statements?

its true man...im sorry to say but it is, mett can throw the ball better than mariota, but that is only one aspect of being a great qb. like i said a few days ago, maybe mariotas athleticism makes up for it, maybe it doesnt, but as a pure passer mett is better. if mett and mariota both stood at the 5 yard line and had many targets spread out within the 50 yards ahead of them, id bet all my $ that mett hits more targets.

Of course there have. Drew Brees and Aaron Rogers came from spread offenses. Cam seems like he's on the way.
