    If Cutler was not a terrible QB the Bears would not be looking to dump him.

    He hasn't had two consecutive seasons of 14 or more starts since 2010. Acting like he is a reliable starting that will give you 25 TDs a year is spin at its best.

    Titan fans act like they are 6 years old. Acting like Mariota is the first QB we have drafted high in 50 years. No we drafted VY in 06 and Locker in 20111 and they are both out of the league.

    The title of one thread finally we have a a player the media pays attention to. But he hasn't thrown a single pass. So again i ask you what if he plays no better than Blake Bortles or God forbid Johnny Manziel where are we? He wasn't a better college QB than Manziel.

    We would still be better off than if we had Culter. Culter isn't going to win us a superbowl he is average and on a good year maybe better than Dalton. We are not a team that would do good with a Dalton type qb we suck we have nothing going for us average is not a option and clinging to hope that a washed qb can save us is dumb.

    We have two potential franchise qbs in Mariota and Mett two! some teams would kill to have that. If 3 years from now we still suck at lease we draft high and not in the middle of the draft every year cause of Cutler.

    Are you kidding? So Mariota is going to be good enough in his first 2 seasons to take a 2-14 team to the super bowl?


    And emphasize the word potential. Right now that is all Mariota is until he proves he can play. VY and Jake locker are out of the league right now. They had potential.

    I don't understand your draft in the middle argument explain that. Mariota can get us to the super bowl but you expect us to suck for 2-3 years? And that is a good thing?

    What do you think Cutler is going to do? What in his history - where he has played with a better cast - makes you think we're going to do any better with him?

    You may as well roll the dice on Mariota because his ceiling is much much higher than Cutlers.

    Cutler isn't good and has a stupid contract.

    Once again folks we have a poster who is more concerned about drafting high than winning games. We can just suck bad enough for 3 years to stock pile a bunch of high picks and then wham nirvana! And hope we are not dead first or that Mariota goes bust in the meantime.
