Wanna tell me Metts starting OL for weeks 8, 10, 11, and 12? Very few and get to play behind the same ol the whole season and Mariota likely won't either. But who is the better starting RT this year? Pout ask who most think needs to play OG, Bell who was jettisoned to be replaced by Oher, or Ohers backup last year in Stingily? On paper, I do t see how you are confident in who is going to be the starter nor in them being definitely better than Ober last year. So who is gonna be our definite starting RT for the year?

And you seem to be trying to counter arguments no one has made. Who suggested Mariotas completion % will be 70% this year or he'll have a td to int ratio of 10:1 this year? You're arguing with yourself and giving yourself a pat of the back to boot by saying you have a more realistic sense of his accuracy? You, the guy who has NOT watched him play that much? LOL.

You have no interest in comparing there college stats because you'd lose!!! It's funny you harp on Mariotas completion % dropping 20% when in fact it dropped 14%. But did you know Mettenbergers completion % dropped 19.4% his last season in college to 45%???

It is hypocritical to blast one guy for his college stats (especially when they are better) but ignore that same thing for the guy you are suggesting is the next top 8 qb in the NFL!

Who is our starting rt this year you said would be better than Oher?

Who were the starting 5 OL in weeks 8, 10, 11, 12 last year?

 

I've always said for someone to prove to me the dropoff isn't the norm. He did. You didn't. He won. You lost.

And ya comparing stats to college is stupid unless they at least play in The same conference. If you can't see that there is no hope for you.

Also the main reason is because Zach has NFL experience...going back to his college stats is idiotic when he has NFL tape
