Man, VY's screen footwork is probably the worst thing i've ever seen.

He never even stepped into the throw and delivered it.

He pretty much got the snap and just turned his torso and threw.

Tom Brady arguably one of the best ever deflate gate aside is the king of dink and dunk. IDGAF how we do it as long as we win games and put points on the board. All this arguing is moot point. Let's give him a chance to prove himself before we sit here and study every intricate little detail to prove he will be a HOF or a bust depending on what side of the spectrum you're on.

 

Yep read somewhere today Brady's average yds/pass attempt was 7.1.......yet the guy has won more rings than I care to admit. I do not care if MM is the King of Screens. As long as he puts some W's up for us that's all that matters to me. It is way too early to say he will or won't.

 

So judging by the article is it safe to say we should all temper expectations to 5 or 6 games tops?

Really the record shouldn't be the focus anyways in 2016 - development of Mariota - could be a long year but would like to see small improvements by the middle and end of the year - give us some hope to hold onto heading into the 2016- 2017 season.

Then let's worry about their record after that.

Unless his name is Zach mettenberger...and he played with the worst roster in the league. Then by all means start and end your evaluation w his record

 

As others have said, I don't care how many screens he throws or how he gets it done.

He can throw between his legs and behind his head as long as he helps this team win and makes them competitive week to week.
