You got any ideas who we might bring in to replace him? Personally, I would like to see Williams return...bu that probably isn't in the cards.

Dave McGinnis is going to be the obvious choice. He is already the assistent head coach and LBs coach and it wouldn't have surprised me if Fisher mentioned the DC job as future incentive when he hired him. Schwartz is apparently ready to move on if anyone is crazy enough to give him a head coaching job (New Orleans?). Wouldn't surprise me if McGinnis is already the chosen one should that happen.

I agree with Schwartz assessment. It's funny, a lot of fans say " fire Schwartz ! "... but those same fans are saying " We have a lot of injuries, cap cuts and new players or we'd be winning ". You can't have it both ways. Schwartz is a great coach, just delt a bad hand over the years.

Bill Parcells has made poor decisions before also... it's the nature of the beast.

Schwartz is gone guys, whether it be another team wanting him as HC or we want to move on with another guy. Schwartz really does confuse me and it seems he can't get the most out of his players unless the team is doing good, unlike other DC's on mediocre/bad teams. That play-calling to end the half last sunday is a highlight on a continuous reel of bad moves by this guy.

People need to relize that Schwartz is on a very short leash with Fisher. Most HC make 4th down calls and 3rd down defensive packages decisions... Fisher is very hands on with his defense ( always has been )... even going as far as taking the raines away from Schwartz in ceratin games early in Schwartz DC career. Not saying it wasn't deserving at times, but Schwartz has limited tools to work with. I'm telling you... given another solid draft defensively, and a couple of solid second teir FA ( example: Vanden Bosch )... Schwartz will get this turned around. The Titans' need to pick up Fisher's option year and Fisher needs to keep Schwartz on staff ( something I'm sure he already knows ).
