2015 is off to a smashing start thus far.

Whatevs. 2/3 of our defensive line is garbage and Hill is a part of that.

I couldn't agree more. Our offense was our defenses biggest problem last year. There was more than a few games where our defenase came out of the gate strong, and started to struggle after multiple 3 and outs by the tragedy that was our offense.

Losing any starter on your team is a bad because the guy behind him would be the starter if he was better

I'm surprised by any Titans fan where the thought "it couldn't get worse" runs through their head.

Anything that makes this team worse is something we don't need. People can speculate about the guy behind them all they want. Bottom like is if he's better, most of the times he's going to see a lot of snaps.

Well hopefully Jones comes around. I'm a PSU fan and was really high on him coming out and glad we grabbed him last year so here's to hoping he takes a step forward or that DL can get Woods playing like he did in Pitt. I would like to see Casey-Woods-Jones as our Dline

Whiz is a known red shirt type coach for rookies. Very possible we see more of jones Early this year. 6'4 and 322 - he has the size to fill in at Nose

Also, seems like we are drafting larger 5 techs with jones and blackson, but we have extended Casey... Seems rather weird.

Blackson and jones on the ends would be decent athletic huge guys. 6'4 and 320 bookends.

Shouldn't be surprised by either of those things. Casey was just an example of a guy who can be successful in any system.

Going back to when Whiz and Horton were in Arizona, they liked bigger, taller DL. All of the DE/DTs drafted between 2007 and 2012(no edge rushers); Alan Branch 6'6" 325, Calais Campbell 6'8" 282, Dan Williams 6'2" 327 and David Carter 6'5" 301.

    They just like taller guys.

What I mean is we have drafted similar guys in back to back drafts for a single position opposite of Casey. Unless one of them end up playing nose and I don't think that's the case.

We should just put Levitre at NT. After all these years off letting people in the backfield, he has to have learned something.

This isn't necessarily true. There are many of scenarios where guys are close in terms of who should start and the coaches simply pick who they like more. You never quite know how guys respond in live action until well...they are out there playing in live action. In these cases, guys get their opportunity when another player gets injured.

Obviously the poster boy example of this is Brady, however, I'm sure there are others if I think about it. Just don't have time to dig this stuff up, but to name a few off the top of my head Navorrow Bowman for Spikes, Kap for Alex Smith, etc...

Now before I get hammered for this post I'm not saying we have a player on our defense that will make a big impact. I'm saying sometimes there are better game day players sitting behind starters often because the guy starting practice better and the Coaches trust them more. However, there are players who actually play better in games than they practice. You never know. I say wait and see what happens. Either way, I do agree Hill is no that much of a lose lol...

In fairness to you, you did say most of the time and not all of the time in your post though.
