I think DaQuan is gonna have a good year. The coaches have always seemed like they saw something they liked and he was decent in his small playing time last year. Seems like hes poised for a much bigger role this year.

Thinking about it if we stuck with Mett this year I think the pick would have been Cooper, not Williams.

On ESPNs NFL Live, they talked about the Titans for a solid 5 minutes... which is 5 minutes more than what we got all of last year.

First they talked about Mariota and what they expected from him. Brunell basically said not to expect too much, but hoped to see flashes of a franchise QB.

Then they went to their "insider" Mortensen who said his "insiders" said there was more rollouts/bootlegs/etc than they ever seen in TN. So looks like Whiz may have actually changed him scheme as reported... which I was still questioning.

Next, Jerome Bettis talked about Bishop Sankey. Mentioned he was the first RB drafted last year and how his play likely sucked due to multiple QBs rotating in and an awful offense line. Lets hope he's right. Bettis also said Mariota will open up the run game and as long as Sankeys confidence isn't ruined, he should have a productive year.

Finally, Ryan Clark talked about LeBeaus impact. ESPN showed stats about how awful our D was last year. Clark said that LeBeau "makes you want to play hard for him" and he expect the Titans (especially after adding Orakpo and Searcy) should have a much better defense.

It's weird seeing Titans on ESPN again.

 

I saw on Twitter that Bell was getting the first crack at RT reps, don't remember who tweeted it though. If Bell is starting RT, hopefully Poutassi can steal Levitres spot.

 

Yeah, I saw that too. I think both PK and Wyatt tweeted it. FWIW I posted the question before that.

PS - It's good to see you have moved on from the Rusty avatar. I hated seeing his giraffe neck on here every day.
