Lol Mett is a lot better than Sorgi ever dreamed of being.

I could see Mett being on a Schaub/Cutler type level.

ive always thought cutler was his career potential. maybe a lil better if he can overcome the ints. i tihnk its part of his make up though. no fear, throw that ball downfield.

What stopped mett in college?? The dude shoulda been hammering teams left and right... He had three of the most impressive rookies to hit the NFL last season.. OBJ, Hill and Landry...

All center pieces of their respective offenses yet Mett still looking lack luster while all his former Skill players bloom...

Honestly... Look at the stats and scratch your head and get off Metts nuts. He held that team back... That shoulda been one of the most prolific offenses in college yet... Mettenberger...

i put 145474465232267x more stock in his nfl play than college stats. you know, since hes already played in the nfl. i know, silly me. and his nfl stats were on par with what you wanna see in a franchise qb as a rookie.

people who are lsu fans say cam held mett back and liked to let hill run all day.

to me 1400 yards in 6 nfl games with washington hunter and wright is pretty impressive. he outperformed his college stats in the nfl....weird.

but yall can keep looking at his college stats if you want...i mean i dont see how much sense it makes...but to each his own.

pacing 4000 yards with a team of scrubs....dont mean nothing.

college stats...mean everything. i guess that makes total sense

i could see mett going elsewhere in a few years, being a top 15 qb and taking his team to the playoffs, and titans fans will still be calling him a 0-6 6 round loser who was never going to be anything and isnt anything. theyll still bring up his college stats as a reason as to why he sucks.

Are you a LSU fan? Real question.

Maybe coaching? I would think he would have better stats too. I have no clue how he would end up with another team or as our starter. I just liked what I saw whole he played with us. Never heard of him before that.

Not that Mett is Brady, but have you seen his college stats?

Nah not a Lsu fan. But I watched a lot of his college work and while I liked his work- the statue thing hardly changed moving into the pros.

They will.. They will regret losing a major (cheap) investment from the 6th rd. Am I talking Super Bowls? -- Maybe, Maybe not...

But either way, I believe some headlines we'll see in a matter of years would be:

"The Franchise That Could Have Been"

"Titans gave up a Berger for Duck"

"Hard Truths in Tennessee: Executing the 3-4 & On Zach Mettenberger they shouldn't have slammed the Door"

(The second one is in no way an offense to Mariota and his abilities.)

Cam is known to hold back his QBs, and 4000 yards and 2 wins is still just two wins...

I give Mett a win against the steelers. Straight up. The defense killed that W.

However it didn't appear he was progressing much beyond what he had already accomplished. Maybe reached his ceiling early with pro work in college...

Mett put up numbers, he took too many sacks and was often behind the 8 ball.

Vince young every time he threw and the camera would sweep across the field my heart nearly stopped. Locker pretty similar... But I was waiting for a coach to catch the ball... Mett... He made plays. But his internal clock was just lost in making mid range throws instead of lower variance drive sustaining ones. "With this absolutely abysmal line --- how long will Mett hold on to the rock..."

I had Mett as the worst of the top 6 QBs last year.

I watched a lot of his games live, I watched a lot of his film. I liked almost nothing I saw. He had a live arm. That's about it.

That said, he throughly outplayed his college self in his time last year, it just wasn't that impressive. Not to me, anyway.

    And, this goes to everyone.

520 values the preseason over college football. That's right.

No game plan, no complexity, pitch and catch football with arguably worse or equal talent as what Mett saw on Saturdays.

    Let that sink in.
