He doesn't have to be a scout to see how inconsistent DGB has been. You watch his Kentucky tape and you're drooling, but turn on another game and you wouldn't believe that's the same player... which will we get?

DGB can either be Vincent Jackson or Tyrone Calico. Critics aren't wrong to have doubts

If all our WR's with "potential" live up to the expectations and Nicks backs up what he's saying
Titans' Hakeem Nicks seeks return to glory days

we could have a very good/solid WR core this year...we might even be exciting to watch :)

    DGB doesn't block.

He may be able to - but he refuses to attempt.

I have just as good of vision as pro-scouts do.

Only difference is a title. Thus the reason they liked Vince Young.

Arguably his worst game vs some state team (forget who, theyre orange) he wrecks DB's and springs his guys for nice gains, how can he not block at 230lbs?

You can clown the kid until youre blue in the face for his hands/routes, but c'mon dude, blocking? He blocks as well as any WR.

I was about to say most highlight reels of DGB had at least one or two blocks included in it that led to big plays.

    Where?

Almost every time I've seen his "blocks" on tape, it's been to point out that he avoids doing it.

Deion Sanders going to tackle style avoids.

Blocking and breaking tackles are his thing, but he's first got to get open and receive the ball. I generally like nimble soft handled receivers over the bigger bodied guys, but there are instances where his hands are amazing, then other times youre like WTF was that... He's an intriguing player because if he taps into his full potential the sky is his limit. But theres that word potential again, lately thats a scary word in Nashville.

DGB can be as good as he wants to be. You don't draft a WR high for blocking, but blocking does show a level of commitment, so he needs to put in a effort if in fact he doesn't.

Blocking isn't even a job for someone his size, he's literally a mismatch for 99% of the NFL's DB's. I can only think of maybe 5 CB's and a few Safetys who can take him one-on-one, he'll go untouched most of the time too coming off the line out of fear of losing him, CB's are at a disadvantage due to his tremendous size.

If I were calling the plays Id be throwing a ton of short stuff his way, the spacing will be there the same way it is when McCourty lines up 8-yards off, just throw slants his way all day, easy pickings..

As long as DGB's catch rating in Madden is a 76 or higher the man will be my most lethal weapon with ease... Whiz should be able to say the same in real life, there's so much damage he could do, its exciting. Deuce Wayne is just being DW and busting balls, dont mind him.
