    homerism at its best.

Roos was probably top 10 during the majority of his career, but Stewart certainly wasn't. He was living off his reputation for the last two and a half. Not taking away anything from them, but anytime you have a top 10 pick get kicked out of the NFL before his first contract is up, essentially takes it out of consideration.

Roos was the only thing keeping it from being an awful draft. Taking Kearse elevated us to the next level, I don't know if you are old enough to remember Thornton and Piller, but Piller had a career very close to that of Stewarts and Thornton was a key piece in the stellar defense we had. Roos and Stewart sadly never even won a playoff game. Not their fault at all, but being the least worst class of the past 10 years makes you stand out more than it should.

Yep. While I would say that Stewart was a good pick, he was overrated by us fans, and a penalty machine.

    Yeah what Scarecrow said ...

    1999 wins.

The 2000s haven't been all that impressive draft wise as a hole

2005 lol after those 2 tackles its a joke ... B Jones and Roydell?? Cmon they couldn't draft a receiver if their jobs depended on it - let's hope DGB changes that, geesh

Why wasn't 1998 Tennessee Oilers draft listed:

WR Randy Moss - in his prime with Mac 9 and Eddie
DB Samari Rolle - best DB n Titan history to date
    DB Dainon Sidney
    DT Joe Salave'a

If MM8 can be the franchise QB, that makes this year a very good draft. Yes he isn't played a down or game yet, but here is to optimism . Kearse did come as a rookie and had a huge impact on our team. That is what we need from number one picks. However, when you draft a guard, and a tackle in first round, it is hard for them to be impact players. Not saying they are not good players. But OL is hard to get excited about. I do like the idea of this years draft loading up offensive personnel to help MM8. Could be a good draft. Ready for football.

I'm going to call one from a limb -- but 2015.

A firearm at QB, A seqouia tree at WR, and an Iron Shoulder at RB -- not too mention a critical fill for us, and plucking from one of the best running programs in NCAA (alabama) FB in Fowler.

Considering none of them have played a down in the NFL, I wouldn't touch 2015.

I get it wasn't the Kansas City Cheifs line back in the day but cmon, homerism? I didn't vote it the best cause obviously it isn't. Just saying when you are able to bolster 2 important spots with quality talent for 10 years, thats a W.
