looks like that is just ranked by how recent they made their first start, but yeah #7 had some good games

My point was how high Young was on those rankings. MM will quickly be an all time Titan, top 5 anyways, just because of the low bar set by the franchise.

Considering I am one of the people that liked Mettenberger, I felt the need to comment.

What I am going to be looking for, is his ability to go through progressions and ability to make NFL passes. Mett did a damn good job of both last year, taking the bad along with the good. I don't really care if he sucks and has horrible stats, I just want to see the promise that I saw in Mett on a consistent basis.

I'll get excited when I give the team the "eyeball" test at TC. A picture is truly worth a thousand words. Everybody on this board should try to make a TC session.

Last year, I could see in 3 plays that DMC was nothing special, Lewan was an athletic/physical standout and Locker was still Locker. In fact, I remember feeling unfortunate that CBJ was the best looking QB in the day I wen to camp. (Mett was very inconsistent that day). Hunter made a couple of good plays- but nothing more than what he should have caught.

Not that it really matters, but who are you referring to as the 'Booger Eater QB'? I always thought that was Chase Daniels from Mizzou. Maybe I missed it.

Ya, I get the fan stuff being excited and all, but aren't you getting tired of all the unjustified optimism each year? I'll hope for the best, but believe it when I see it.

Looks to me like you are planting tulips in a weed patch.

how do you get rid of weeds? You suffocate them out by planting more grass.

Keith Bulluck once said he got to the level he did in football because he always thought of the best case scenario. Its hard to overcome adversity if you just sit around and mope.
