Kendall Wright hinted at frustration with the Ken Whisenhunt scheme.

Wright saw just 93 targets last season, Whisenhunt's first season in charge of the Titans. He wasn't allowed to freelance as much as he did in 2013, when he racked up 94 catches on 140 targets. "I think a lot of things, but thinking and doing what I have to do are totally different," Wright said. "So I just keep my thoughts to myself. I don't even speak them out loud. Whatever I have to do, I'll do." This sounds like a player just biding his time until he can leave Tennessee behind.

This story has gotten WAY more attention than it should.

We extended Wright last month, he's going nowhere anytime soon.

We've got him for at least 2 more seasons. I bet when the Titans show him the money this coming off season and try to extend him, he will change his tune. He just likes to freelance out on the field and Whiz's scheme requires a lot more precision than Wright is used to playing with. Once he gets used to it he'll be fine - but I do think he was a little bit misused/underutilized last year.

He cant even be that upset over changing his style, how in the hell is a QB suppose to know where he's at if he's "freelancing"? Also by doing what Whiz is making him do it'll be a lot ore easy subbing guys in and staying consistent on offense.

Don't title this as "on his way out" unless there is a chance he is leaving the team before his contract is up. Got to love how just the littlest things said get so blown out of proportion. You can thank the media for trying to stir any pot they can so they don't have to talk about even more boring chit all day long.

While I agree (because of this thread), you'll notice I didn't make a thread about it and YOU should not be criticizing someone starting a thread on a non-story. ;)

He basically says he has an opinion but has to do what the coach says. I'm pretty sure every player feels that way at one point or another.

If Mariota can get him the ball, he will realize that having a QB and being where he is supposed to be is better than his freelance style and his opinion will change.
