Yeah the timing is a bit strange. He was clearly gonna be the odd man out after we drafted Cobb. He has been skipping OTA's though. Maybe they wanted to give him a legitimate shot to make the roster but decided screw this guy he's not invested enough or a team player.

Was thinking the same thing, Greene was serviceable, Oher was a huge liability from the start..

One thing is for certain, every Titan offensive player under Whiz regressed. So say all you want about Greene sucking, he was the only quality RB we've had the last 2 yrs and he was running on one leg. Did he get the opportunities he should've? Did he do anything with those opportunities? no

The bigger question is did Whiz use any of his personnel the right way and get the most out of his players?? That's a great big NO

I will grant that Oher is almost certainly a worse signing, but if you squint hard enough you can see it as one the Titans maybe had to make. They were desperate for a RT.

Levitre is a bust but the signing was cheered when it happened. Most people thought he would be good.

Greene's signing is special because he sucked with the Jets, there were lots of better RBs available in free agency and yet the Titans somehow still decided to give him $10 MILLION. That's high-end RB money in today's NFL. It was absolutely baffling.

Make sure no one gets seriously hurt in OTAs would be my guess. McCluster, Sankey, Cobb and Andrews all made it through healthy, so now they don't need him at all.

helped nudge :cj: out of Nashville. That alone was worth it. Plus third and short, when he was given the rock when he was active, was a first down unlike with cj0k
