When did the Finals switch back to the standard 2-2-1-1-1? I swear it was still 2-3-2 last year.

yea, that bum Iguodola who was on the men's national team in 2010 and 2012 and NBA all d team twice not to mention an NBA all star in 2012...

Don't say bad things about Iguodola and also spell it right bra. He's better than anyone on the cavs roster other than their big 3 and he's had a more illustrious career than Thompson so...

Yeah, the Lebron lower the shoulder across the lane, bang and push off the defender fade away play (my favorite)..or the "swim" through defenders in the lane, initiate contact, and wait for the whistle play.

    Here's the issue:
The "support" guys on the Cavs aren't going to average what the main players on the Cavs will. Delly will hit a high 20 points or so, JR might as well be a RNG, Shump will play good defense but generally isn't chipping in many points, and T2 will grab a ton of rebounds but his point output is usually in the single digits (or barely in the double digits).

On the other hand, Kyrie would average 20+ a game. Kevin Love, it's hard to say, but he adds valuable floor spacing that we don't have right now because our current PF couldn't shoot a 3 to save his life.

As for them running out of gas, are you actually watching the games or are you just yapping out of your ass? Cleveland is keeping up with the Warriors pretty well until the final half of the fourth in these games, I wonder why? It's pretty clear from watching that Delly is getting run down by the end playing minutes he isn't used to. Hell, again, he's a backup PG that had been averaging something like 20 minutes a game and is now playing close to 40. He had to go to the hospital after Game 3 due to severe cramping and started cramping up again in the second half of Game 4. Saying the Cavs aren't getting worn down is either disingenuous or ridiculously stupid.

He got 20 in one game. He also only played 9 minutes in Game 1. You do realize that, sometimes, Delly and Kyrie play at the same time right? Yeah, Delly plays better defense, but he is never going to score as consistently as Kyrie is. Kyrie's main role is to let the offense continue while LeBron rests. Now, LeBron doesn't get that rest, or if he does, the offense shuts down (unless one of Delly, Shump, or JR are just having a good night). There's a reason he's playing ridiculous minutes that he wouldn't be playing with a healthy Kyrie and/or Love.

And saying the Cavs are better off with Thompson starting over Love is also stupid and shows you understand nothing about the Cavs lineup. If Blatt felt Thompson was that vital he'd just start at center if they wanted to play small while Love continued to play PF and stretch the floor (which, if you remotely had a clue as to of what you were talking about, you would know that, because that's been a primary rotation for the Cavs since the trade). As is, we wind up playing Mozgov and T2, where Mozgov can be a liability on offense (turns the ball over a lot) and T2 is virtually nonexistent on offense outside of rebounding.

Oh, so we agree that the Cavs are at a severe disadvantage missing two key players, great.

Speak for yourself. GS got incredibly lucky this year, incredibly lucky. The Cavs squad almost made it with injuries to key players. GS would have never been able to do what the Cavs have done, even in the East.

Right, because Memphis wasn't missing key players. Because Houston wasn't missing their key defensive player. Because the Cavs aren't missing two (really three) key players.

No... though I can see how I worded what I said poorly (granted, I've said the exact opposite of that several times prior and since.)

My whole point is this: Due to injuries, the Cavs don't have enough fresh players to close out games, and that is why GS is able to win the games in the final six minutes or so. Every game the Cavs either keep it even or are ahead until the very end when they run out of gas. And Kerr, being a great coach, knows this and is keeping his guys fresh for those final minutes, the Cavs don't have that luxury as they weren't built with injuries to Kyrie and K.Love in mind (though they probably should of been, I'd take Nate Robinson over Perkins right now in a heartbeat).

When I said the Cavs were a better team I meant healthy, though I can see where it reads like I meant something else.

Regular season ain't playoff basketball kid. And GS only played one healthy team in the playoffs, and that team was only in because Kevin Durant went down.

No, that was a misunderstanding. Admittedly due to my poor phrasing of a sentence.

    Edit:
Actually, I guess DW is saying that.

Cleveland's starting 5 is just as good as GS' starting 5.

Only Lebron apologists and ESPN would say otherwise.
