One was based on pure luck that he didn't even want to happen

Then I suppose he also earned the 2008 13-3 record, which in all reality was 80 percent on Albert Haynesworth. Winning regular season games does not earn you a Super Bowl berth or win. Peyton has been learning that for about 15 years as well.

I'm just saying, the fact that they won in the MCM to get there..had very little to do with Fish. Once the playoffs start, it's a new season.. And fisher is not so sterling in the playoffs. He is the anti Tom Coughlin. In his nearly 20 years of coaching,, it took a top 2-3 NFL miracle play, to get to his lone Super Bowl.

Turns out you can't settle for field goals and expect to win, when everything is on the line.

Fisher was fairly conservative as a coach but he went super-conservative in the playoffs.

That's not a problem he has with the Rams. Namely because he can't make the playoffs with them, either...Without McNair.

The more time that passes, the clearer that becomes.

I'm in two minds about Fisher:

    1. I want him to fail completely with that team.

    2. I want him to make the playoffs to see him completely screw it up.

I wanted Fisher gone way back in the start of 2006 when we were like 1-5 or whatever... and then again in 2009 when we went 0-6.

But I'm just saying you can't completely discredit the runs we made.

I 100% blame Fisher for not getting us a ring. Don't misunderstand me... it just seemed like you were acting like luck is the only reason we ever made it far. While I'd argue that bad luck is the reason we lost both Ravens games.

If we were lucky, then the Ravens are the luckiest team ever... both in 2000 (when we handed them a W) and in 2012 when they only made the playoffs due to Ray Rice converting a 4th & 27 or whatever it was... and he was actually a foot short. Refs gave it to him anyways.

Ravens should have 0 rings. Titans should have at least 2.

    Sh*t luck in many instances.

2003 was actually where Fisher deserved the most blame... We put up 30+ points week in and week out. Get to the playoffs and go uber conservative, putting up 34 points combined in two games.

Fisher had a good supporting coaching staff and imo, was loaded with hof level players (if they played elsewhere). He has no excuses at all, he's an ultra conservative garbage coach. Without steve, eddie and co this guy would have been out of the league and coaching college, around 2007.

Absolutely. The NFL is just that way. Every coach that is considered "good" is tied to their QB at the time. Johnson without Aikman, Smith and co may not be much.
Dungy without manning would be an "ok" coach at best.
    Belichick was nothing before Brady.

Whisenhunt with Warner is a prime example.

Belichick was actually a very highly respected coach before Brady, look at his staff from his Cleveland days, something like 5 HC's came out of that staff.
