Albert Haynesworth writes letter to 14 year ols self.....interesting read

Uhhh.... really? Someone thinks we should have paid him? haha Uh. No.



This part of the letter was weird:

"You're a growing young man. You'll become a giant and finding shoes in your size won't be easy. Just know that you should never, ever wear metal cleats. Like, ever. Seriously, this is important."

 

Albert Haynesworth in 2008 >> than JJ Watt in any year thus far.

He is the sole reason we were 13-3 and in the playoffs.

 

Fat Al collapsed the pocket from the A-Gap as well as anyone ever has, JJ Watt does a lot more, just not to the degree Al did his thing.

As a 3-technique DT yes Fat Al>JJ Watt, but overall no way...

 

Let's tone it back a bit.

JJ Watt could retire tomorrow and he'll be in the Hall of Fame.


Haynesworth IS retired and wont be.

 

Pretty weird he never says he regrets stomping on that guy... like wtf man.

 

BUT....he did get the big paycheck.

Got what he wanted, and deserved. Nice to see some maturity now....wish it was there when he played.

To read that, you would think they switched him to DB. If he played the same way, he could have had the same level of success he had here in 2008. That simple.

 

That's pretty much the biggest thing I took from the letter as well. He still blamed the Redskins for his career's nosedive.
