    Last week a Zach Mettenberger interview was made public, in it Mett went on to say the Texans players all having Letterman jackets was "high schoolish", now PFT is using that to make Mett look bad. And why does Rotoworld also seem to really hate the Titans? Now PFT taking shots at us too..

    Mettenberger isn't even good enough to warrant this level of attention LOL. Shouldnt the media be covering where Marcus Mariota buys his pineapples? Hell, I wouldn't even be posting this if training camps would hurry and open..

    I'm sure Mett is just loving the attention regardless. This whole JJ Watt beef could very well end up being the highlight of his career and the only thing anyone outside of our fanbase remembers him for. Well, that and eating boogers of course.

    I mostly feel disrespected over the lack of equal coverage for all the teams. Kind of like every NFL draft you know when the Titans are on the clock it's time for a commercial break. Ridiculous.

    Mett is setting Mariota up for a rough day vs Houston, get JJ all worked up knowing good and well he's not the one playing vs that defense.. Mett is sneaky LOL.

    This year the media has given us more than enough attention. First with the Philip River trade talks, then with us flipping the No.2 overall pick, and now after picking Mariota we're talked about a lot more than normal.

    But what I do wonder is why professional writers go out of their way to make us look inept.

    That used to kind of bother me but not really so much anymore. Market size and more importantly relevance all play into how much coverage a particular team gets. And the simple fact is not many people outside of TN give a damn about the Titans.

    Very good point, the media giants cater to the masses, thats why Tebowmania was so big for so long, so many people loved Tebow to death despite his inability to keep up at the pro level. ESPN dont care tho, they see rating and stop reporting sports news for Tebow taking a sh*t, or LeBron James scratching his nose... Little annoying TBH.

    Plus I am not so concerned about mass coverage of the aftermath of our 2-14 season. I agree that Titans get shorted a bit, and part of that is due to the market I guess. But another part of that is that the team was a train wreck last season, and did not merit any coverage.

    Obviously, but I'm really a fan of the NFL. While of course I want more Titans coverage, I really just want more equal coverage amongst all teams. Don't need to hear about the Cowboys, Steelers, and Patriots three times as much every other team.
