The details say Hunter punched a guy in the face twice and then punched him again after the fight was broken up and the dude was bent over bleeding. Dude broke his jaw.

I don't think there's any way you can spin this one as self defense.

Titans wide receiver Hunter granted bond by Virginia judge

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Tennessee Titans wide receiver Justin Hunter has been granted bond by a Virginia judge after being charged with malicious wounding.

The charge stems from a bar fight in Hunter's hometown of Virginia Beach during the Fourth of July weekend.

General District Judge Daniel Lahne said Tuesday that Hunter could be released on a $25,000 bond as long as he remains on good behavior. Hunter was also placed under a curfew.

Prosecutors said during Hunter's arraignment that he started a fight on July 3 by punching a man in the face twice. After the bar was cleared, prosecutors said Hunter punched the man again while he was bent over spitting out blood on the sidewalk.

Prosecutors say the man had a broken jaw as a result of the incident.

    Do you watch the NFL?

Goodell now places guys on an indefinite suspension list until their charges are resolved. Not a huge stretch to say this could cost Hunter a huge chunk of games.

Then again, maybe he has good lawyers and can plead to a misdemeanor quickly.

Right, because I said doctors and scientists were perfect... However, I would love to see what percentage of the total number of professional athletes have been arrested and compare that to the total number of physicians/scientists who have been arrested, especially for violent crimes. If you think those numbers would be anywhere close to each other, you're a *******.

I think he is done here.
He has underperformed, injury prone, we are semi deep at wr with a promising 2nd rounder to take his spot and he's going to be dealing with this all season long. Prolly miss camp, and games.

    He's done IMO.

I loved him coming out of the draft and sad to see him go if he is gone.

Semi deep? Wright is our only receiver who has ever gotten over 1,000 yards for our team, the rest are all either rookies or past their prime.
