Douglas and Wright to Start?!

    ESPN Titans reporter Paul Kuharsky expects the team to open the season with Harry Douglas and Kendall Wright starting at wide receiver.

    Oof. It would be quite the disappointment if second-round rookie Dorial Green-Beckham didn't win a first-team job out of camp, especially after Justin Hunter's felony assault arrest. If Douglas and Wright are indeed the first-string wideouts, the Titans would field the worst receiver corps in the league.

    Don't think hardly anyone here was expecting DGB to win a starting spot in TC.

    At least not anyone with realistic expectations.

    He is just as unpolished as Hunter was coming out of college. Not a good route runner. Out of competitive football for a year.

    I would be shocked if he was getting more than a handful of snaps early on.

    Hunter should be in that second spot. But. You know.

    Training camp has not even started yet. Nobody knows how the starting positions will end up. Thought that was the reason for training camp.

    I don't think they'd start anyone who they thought was worse than the guys not starting. So if our starters are the worst in the league it doesn't say much for the rest. I personally think we will be ok with who ever starts.

    I am not sure why this is a shock. DGB is a very very green rookie who did not even play this year.

    How sow. DGB has the potential to be a regular pro-bowl player. You saying you think he is a waste because he will take a bit to develop? You would rather have an average guy who can contribute right away?

    LOL at the panic that DGB won't possibly start.

    But it's very alarming that we could possibly have 2 slot WRs as our starters.
