Just got the G Box Q! Best decision EVER!! Downloaded the Genesis and Sports Devil addons and can pretty much watch whatever I want. Thanks to whoever posted about this earlier.

I'm sitting tight for now. I'd need to get the antenna in the attic and I might die up there.

I have a chromcast in my living room and bedroom, great little gadget.

and no nothing like hulu or netflix. Chromecast takes the video on your phone/tablet and shoots it into your TV. It plugs in to an HDMI slot in the back of the TV

also, you can use the chrome browser google offers and your tv will mirror whatever you see in the chrome browser. I sometimes use my laptop this way

I don't think Chromecast offers access to HBO GO, which blows.

I'll stick with the Roku, and I may switch to Amazon Fire down the road.

Just checked it out and they do now.

I still am on the fence about this. But, I am getting it basically free aside from purchasing the usb.

My wifes family all shares the same account and have the premium channels. I'm assuming there are no restrictions to this??

I'm using this to replace my current TV service. I really can't wait to get rid of Direct TV after this football season. I talked myself into getting NFL ticket one more year. It's just so convenient for me having to work nights and sunday days.

And one more ? Can I access all of the apps from my phone or Ipad away from the house and the ChromeCast USB? Sounds like a dumb question. I should be able to log in with the same account info that you would use for chrome cast?

You're probably in a bad spot... and you probably shouldn't have gone too cheap with an antenna. Should've just bought a more expensive HD antenna.

I cut the cord 5+ years ago. I bought an $80 Used Epson 2000+ Lumens projector, mounted it to the ceiling in my living room - Ran a VGA cable down the wall and plugged it into an old desktop computer that I upgraded with a video card, ram and SSD disk. That plugs into my surround sound which has speakers setup around my living room and I've got a Cat5 running from the tower to my router.

I have streaming websites that have multiple links for CBS, NBC, Discovery, Spike, HBO (Pretty much anything thats on cable etc)

However I can also switch the input on my projector to get over the air broadcasts as it is plugged into an HD converter using AV cables.

I control the computer though a wireless mouse and keyboard.
