With Jalin suspended game 1, that opens the door for Braxton.

Urban Meyer just said he is going to work with Braxton 1 on 1.

He was a WR coach. lol

And this is where we just have to disagree. Beating the 2nd worst Bama team under Saban with a QB who is almost equal in ability to the other two QBs isn't really that much to sit around crowing about.

I guess we can disagree then.

For perspective though, was the best Bama team under Saban 3 deep at QB?

And the 2008 Bama squad was probably the second worst behind Saban's inaugural season.

Saban teams generally don't rely on a passing game that much. This year that changed a bit under Kiffin as OC, which was a weird time for that to happen considering Blake Sims got the job (and was largely why the offense was consistently inconsistent, though I don't know if Coker would have done any better).

That said, in my mind the two best Bama teams under Saban were 2009 and 2011: for 2009, no, they weren't three deep (unless you count burning AJ McCarron's redshirt). 2011? I guess. AJ McCarron probably wasn't that much better than Phillip Simms and Phillip Ely in the long run; that is, I doubt there would have been much of a drop off if McCarron and Simms went down.

Why? Because they got beat by Florida in the SEC Championship or because they didn't bother to show up against Utah?

At any rate, I'd strongly disagree with that sentiment. The 2008 team was young but they weren't as riddled with holes and depth issues as last year's team. And I'd take John Parker Wilson and Greg McElroy over Blake Sims and Coker* any day of the week.

*- I guess. I haven't really seen much of Coker so I'm not sure on that one.

    Smh...

Seriously I'm becoming convinced Saban's not a great coach if he has unmotivated teams who don't show up in bowl games. That's a serious coaching issue.

Just like how they wasn't motivated by playing Oklahoma.

:biglaugh:at the thought of Braxton Miller being another Percy Harvin...

Harvin was something serious is college and Braxton could never be him in his wildest dreams.

Yea, because Harvin had time to perfect the H-back position. So, Miller most likely won't be as successful making a switch to H-back in his last year.

But if you are saying he doesn't have the tools to be as dynamic as Harvin than you are wrong. Straight up. I doubt you have watched much of Milller, and just spewing that normal Buckeye hate.
