It's no different than yesterday when Jim Wyatt said Mariota had another solid day and Paul K. said he looked less solid and shakey. They are all going to have opinions. Some of them just have a bigger microphone than others.

I'm not sure if you made your case better or worse by only naming two defensive players that could start on any team. There's a lot of "ifs" in this post as well. I probably wouldn't say we have the least talent but we're definitely in the bottom 5. Nothing wrong with people saying that, went 2-14 last year. If the Titans finally have a franchise QB then everything else will become easier.

Way! This team has been talking up potential since Steve McNair left. That potential has shown up once. Our talent level sucks.

What I don't understand is in how they executed the draft. They put much of their resources into the offense. I think they should have went defensively with one of their lower picks and then focus more on the offense in the middle rounds. Was DB a real big time need? They could have used that choice to fill in another hole defensively.

With how they ran the draft it did cause a thought or two wondering if Webster knew what he was doing. But I like the depth on offense. If the defense was set before the draft. A calming leader on offense and more specifically at qb could have a dramatic effect on these guys.

Actually if history is any guide it will be some time after we "earn" it. As the NFL/ESPN talking heads are loath admit their mistakes. If the Titans want respect they need to begin by Beating the living **** out of the bucs/and rapistQB in game one.

They almost always take one CB every year in the draft. I was surprised they didn't and the two 4th round picks were the most surprising. But with signing Cox CB wasn't a huge hole IMO.
