    Thanks for posting.

It is just training camp. But the reoccurring message coming out of each of these reports is that he 'isn't making mistakes'. That and he has been 'impressive'. This is the player I kind of thought the Titans drafted. Granted, if the Titans arent very good and he goes against more difficult competition. The mistakes could happen. But I don't think so. So far, so good. Hopefully, the receivers will correct their mistakes and make the play more times than not. Dropped passes and not making the plays could lead to more turnover opportunities as well.

    Mariota 38/58 (65.5%) ?TD 0 INT during 7 on 7, 11 on 11. Winston 15/29 (51.7%).

    Just for reference, Manziel 42/85 (49.4%) last year. Luck 122/165 (75.3%) 7 TD 5 INT in 2012.

Dude, the mistakes will happen, this is the NFL. But these reports are a good start. I am a huge duck fan, since the days of Bill Musgrave (been an oiler/titan fan just as long), but even I know that this kid will take his lumps this year. No QB comes to the NFL and does not struggle. The questions are can he over come his mistakes, learn from them, and reach an elite level in the NFL? We will be lucky to know that after year one--hell vince young won the rookie of the year and bounced a few years later. But I will say these reports are good signs, better than we ever heard about Jake Locker. And I am cautiously optimistic that Mariota can be a good to great NFL quarterback. But only time will tell . . .

Accuracy in camp isn't a great indicator of how he is going to preform during the season. What I do like is he seems to be grasping the offense and fine under center. Accuracy shows that as well.

Really hard to know what any of this means, as we have no idea what each are being asked to due, how practices are organized, what talent they are working with when, etc. The one thing we can conclude is Marcus is doing well early, and that is good news.

I cant recall the drops for day 1 or 2, but he had 3 big drops today. Even if you only added those 3 drops to the completions hes at 70%.

Not to mention it sounded like he had one of his best days while he was in pads so thats encouraging.

It's the 3rd day lol I get the excitement and I'm glad he is doing good in camp, but it means nothing to me until I see him in some live action.

Remember last year in camp, the WRs were making great plays all over the place and we thought we had the makings of an explosive offense. Turns out our secondary was just that bad and our WRs were average. It's hard to tell how good any group is going to be until they face another team.
