Training Camp August 5, 2015

What you want to or hope to see is a guy that isn't willing to just roll over just because the coach said it's Mariota and no one else. He has some skills, he needs to do what he does best and make it difficult for Mariota or at least put Mariota on a shorter leash with his play and behavior in practice.

 

Let's not forget Orapko...he is just as proven and if he doesn't get hurt he will make a difference. He should get his double digit sacks . His presence should open up opportunities for others. I also have high hopes for Zach Brown coming back hungry.

 

ZB has the skills to be amazing...but can he stay healthy and is he hungry enough is the question.

 

So I was listening to Mike and Mike on the Radio this morning. There was a small excerpt of an interview with Andrew Luck. Luck Basically said this (paraphrasing) :

"Obviously one thing I need to work on during camp is interceptions. QBs always have to protect the ball, and this (training camp) is the time to work on NOT turning the ball over. I count every int I throw, and I count tipped passes as ints as well. I am trying to limit my mistakes as much as possible"

So you mean to tell me that the great Andrew Luck is trying to NOT through ints during TC practices?!?!?! This is madness. Doesn't he know that throwing ints in camp is a good thing? what an idiot.





Where are the articles bashing Luck for trying to avoid the INTs during camp? Does this mean Luck is only going to be dinking and dunking and taking the easy throws in TC now?

 

Luck throws picks often....nothing new here....

 

Yeah. I'm just saying its OK for him to try not to throw ints in camp, but when Mariota doesn't throw ints in camp its some terrible thing lol

As much as I hate the Colts, I kind of like Luck. He seems to be the kind of person you would find hanging out here talking football. He needs to keep throwing INT's though.

 

Losing Zach Brown last year hurt a lot worse than people realize. With the move to the 3-4, I wasn't a fan of the Wesley Woodyard signing but I was really glad Williamson came along nicely. Brown will make a major impact as long as he is on the field. You can take that to the bank.
