Looking at the Omni. Any idea where the team stays the night before the game? Thanks for the help

Don't they stay at their own spots? I think they meet up somewhere in the morning and is then taken to the stadium in a bus.

I think the team stays at the Vanderbilt Lowes hotel before the games, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I would stay Downtown. The Omni is the nicest hotel and has a pretty cool pool scene at least the last time I was down there. You could also look into the Union Station. It is a classic old hotel located walking distance from lower broadway honky tonk action and the gultch. It has a neat beer hall connected to it.

Food wise.... Breakfast---Nashville has 2 iconic breakfast places. The pancake pantry located in the Vandy area and then the Loveless Cafe which is about 30 mins west of Downtown near Fairview. The Omni actually has a pretty good Southern style breakfast buffet with a homemade biscuit and jam bar. Monells in the Germantown area is also a fun place for breakfast. Southern style served family style.

Lunch---You could consider an Uber ride to Pharmacy Burger in east Nashville. Serves German Brats and Burgers in a beer garden. If you want to drink beer outside while checking out the Vandy Co-eds then heading to San Antonio Taco company (SATCO) would be a good choice. Sit outside drinking buckets of beer and stuffing yourself on queso dip. They also make some surprisingly good buffalo wings for a tex-mex place. Another Nashville classic would be to pick yourself up some hot chicken from Prince's, but beware the hot will have you running to the bathroom. Go mild or medium.

Dinner--- Italian Rolf and Daughters in Germantown. Steakhouse Kane Prime in the gultch. Indian The Masal House on 12th ave. Urban Grub has a great menu and cool atmosphere as well. I also like City House in Germantown. Right downtown you could look at Puckett's Grocery or The Farmhouse for Southern style dinners.

Love Hotel Indigo on corner of 4th and Union but dang their prices have gone up over the past few years. Have all downtown hotels jumped prices since the convention center opened?

I like the Renaissance. Great views of the capital. I've never stayed at the Omni. Opryland Hotel is a destination in and of itself. I believe they offer bus service downtown or a ride on the General Jackson Riverboat, but I am not certain. I have never stayed at Opryland on gameday...
